PHOENIX — Two months ago Linda Mendez got a second job; she’s having a tough time keeping up with the mortgage on her South Phoenix home.
She now works in health care and the banking industry, doing billing and operations work.
“I am in need of the money, the way the finances are right now, the economy and stuff,” Mendez says.
Mendez is also hoping to knock off some of her credit card debt by selling her cemetery plot at St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix.
